First of all,  I want to begin this post by telling you this is my opinion and experience with the Doterra Lifelong Vitality Pack.

I am not bashing the company or attacking their credibility, but honestly giving you the data that I collected and my conclusions from using the product.

    MY EXPERIENCE

I got sucked into buying the Doterra Lifelong Vitality Pack when a friend told me I needed to start taking them every day. She was a Doterra consultant trying to make another sale.

How do you feel your best?

Inside each box of the Doterra Lifelong Vitality Pack contains a 30-day supply of Alpha CRS plus, xEO Mega, and Microplex MVp. If you’re like me, then this doesn’t mean a whole lot. The company sure boasts about its ability to make you feel your best, so I was really excited to get started.

To be honest, I was disappointed with the results.

Doterra claims that their Lifelong Vitality supplement pack is a game changer.

They claim by taking their supplements every day for 30 days, you will notice increased energy, a stronger metabolism, and better overall health.

According to their website, their Vitality pack will give you:

    • General wellness and vitality
    • Antioxidant and DNA protection
    • Energy metabolism
    • Bone health
    • Immune function
    • Stress management
    • Cardiovascular health
    • Healthy hair, skin, and nails
    • Eye, brain, nervous system
    • Liver function and digestive health
    • Lung and respiratory health
    • Gentle on stomach

Sounds like a miracle drug to me! If their product did even a small percentage of what they claim they can do – it’s worth the investment.

It’s a pretty safe investment, right? They say that if you are not satisfied after 45 days, Doterra will give you a full refund, even if you finish the entire bottle.

Sounds like a good deal to me. I mean what do you have to lose? If you don’t like the product all you have to do is return it.

Not so fast! You see it’s not as easy as just returning the empty bottle. Maybe DoTerra isn’t as confident in their product as one may think.

    RETURN POLICY

When I read the fine print on the back of the box, I Instantly saw their sneaky little ploy.

For you to qualify in returning the product or be apart of what they call this “special offer” of returning the product after 45 days, you have to be one of their “Wellness Advocates.”

This means that not everyone can just return the product. You have to be a consultant which means you’ve already purchased a ton of products from them.

DoTerra offers a return if you’re not satisfied guarantee, but only allow certain people make the return. When a company offers you a “money-back guarantee” this doesn’t mean that their product works or that they are confident that you’re going to love the product. A money back guarantee usually means that they have run the numbers and know that they are going to come out on top.

Consider these reasons why someone would offer a money-back guarantee even if they have a lousy product:

REASONS WHY A MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE DOESN’T MEAN A PRODUCT IS WORTHY OF THE PRICE

A Small Percentage Would Return The Product

First of all, just because they give a refund within 45 days doesn’t mean that their product is worth purchasing. Why not? Doterra created this guarantee based on their numbers; they know that most people won’t return the product after 45 days. If they sold 1,000 vitality packs and had a 50% unsatisfied rate – my guess is only 10-20% (or less) of those people who were dissatisfied would even bother to return the product.

I know that I wouldn’t return an empty bottle.

Did you know that 80% of gift cards are never redeemed? That’s why selling gift cards is a huge business – most people will never use them. The same is true with Doterra’s policy on returning their product; most people would feel uncomfortable returning a product that they already used.

So, they know their numbers. Offering customers a money-back guarantee doesn’t mean their product is superior.

    Club Members Only

As I mentioned above, only people that are wellness advocates are allowed to return the product. This doesn’t make sense to me one bit.

If I were “technically” working for Doterra, I would assumably be one of their fans. Therefore, I’m going to be emotionally attached to the product and company, and because of that, I’m probably not going to return anything.

I have talked to these consultants about the products that they endorse. They believe that DoTerra’s essential oils cure everything. They are never going to say that the Lifelong Vitality Pack is a hyped up product that cannot deliver on the promised results.

Companies use “money-back guarantees” all of the time. This doesn’t mean that the product is worth the money.

BUYING A MULTIVITAMIN ISN’T YOUR BEST OPTION

The problem with most multivitamins is that they contain such small portions of the different supplements that it rarely makes a difference. Most naturopathic doctors would agree with that statement, at least that is what my doctor told me.

Multivitamins are for those that don’t eat a balanced diet. It would be better for all of us to take less vitamins and focus more on our diet.

It’s true, that there are some vitamins that we lack because it’s hard to get from our food today. These vitamins would be good to take everyday.

Vitamin D being one of them. Also, B Vitamins and magnesium are really good to take daily.

If you went out and bought high-quality vitamins known to do what Doterra’s Lifelong Vitality Pack claims to do – you’re going to be better off.

    • It’s cheaper. With DoTerra you’re paying a higher price because it’s an MLM company
    • DoTerra makes a lot health claims. These claims are based on hype and not actual results.

    HELP OR HYPE?

I bought the Lifelong Vitality Pack from Doterra and gave them a try.

I followed the directions, I took the supplements for the next 30 days, and waited to see how I would feel.

I didn’t experience any of the benefits I was promised. I felt the same. I actually felt better taking a good probiotic every morning, a magnesium supplement and a Vitamin B Complex supplement.

I didn’t take the time to return an empty bottle, either. Even if I wanted to, I couldn’t because I wasn’t a consultant.

My suggestion is don’t waste your money buying this product. It’s a hyped-up product marketed by another overpriced MLM business.

You can buy supplements cheaper on Amazon, and they’re going to do the same thing (Without all the hype).

If you are thinking of starting an MLM home business, I challenge you to read how I built an income from home using affiliate marketing.

I had the same experience with LLV and with their Slim & Sassy weight-loss powder – I paid $150 for the two and would not recommend either one.

In other words, this is a study that was performed by doTerra!

If you look at the ingredients of the all three supplements included in the LLV, they are all necessary vitamins and minerals our bodies need because we don’t receive most of them from our foods. I was always tired and sick before I started taking the LLV and I haven’t been sick in 5 years! Yes I am a wellness advocate with DōTERRA

If you feel that strongly about this product, you should leave a rating below. It’s also important to note that any vitamin or product like the DōTERRA Lifelong Vitality Pack will see mixed results. Everyone’s body is different and responds differently.

I was told as well how amazing they are. With in the first week I felt worse, stomach hurt and was taking them with food or right after I ate. I finally looked at all the ingredients and there is a bunch of crap in them, such as maltodextrin, corn oil and Carrageenan. No wonder why I felt gross. I stop taking them and feel better. Back to my regular vitamins. Just wish I could get my money back.

Used it for 14 days after being advised to give up my magnessium supplement for sleep, zinc for my immune system and B Complex. What a deteriation in my health, when taking vitality pack; got a cold for first time in 5 years or so, constant stomach ache, little sleep and upset tummy, including severe nausea and depression Can I take them for another two weeks? I will try. For me I feel an idiot for listening and acting on a doterra consultant’s positivity.

I honestly also thought I felt the same after 30 days of taking the vitamin. What I noticed is how different I felt when I stoped using the vitamin. I think they are great personally

I am almost done with my second month of LLV. I am going to stop taking these due to feeling stiff and achy joints, cloudy head and overall down. I have gained weight and all I can think is that these supplements are not helping me. I plan on doing as I did before and drink green smoothies. It’s crazy to think it’s just that easy…. 12 pills a day and I will feel great! uuummm… NO! I feel it’s quite possible the fat soluble vitamins are being stored in my body and causing these symptoms. Either way I have decided to stop the LLV.

I have 30 days supply taken now. How do I know if my body needs all those vitamins. Should I reduce them or stop taking them, as they are very expensive if I don’t need them. I would like to know.? Thank you. Mary.g

You can only buy Llv If you have a wholesale account (and everyone that used to have a wholesale account is called a “wellness advocate” ) hence that’s in the return policy … you definitely could have returned it

Love them! Can’t do without but I’ve always been a supplement kind of person and have taken Amway & Usana for more than 10 yrs prior to starting on LLV. Have to take it correctly though to enjoy benefits.

I have taken them for over 5 years, now.. haven’t had a cold, flu or other illness that I had at least 2 to 3 times a year since taking them. My lab tests are very good for 58, and my doctor tells me that choosing to take a quality supplement system is recommend. He does’t sell doterra..
doTERRA does employ aromatic science but so does many other companies. Matter of fact ANY company that has quality assurance tests run, either do it themselves or pay another company. It’s not an oddity.. it is a normal practice. They buy the service.. Does the products you buy in the grocery store do any type of 3rd party quality assurance testing??
Having issues with these may suggest you need to look at your gut health. There could very well be a deeper root issue going on?

Products affect different people different ways. Personally I have been taking LLV for about 5 years and I believe in it. I’m 66 years old, feel great and never get sick!
I’d like to see a non biased, scientific side by side analysis done on all the popular supplements rather than one persons biased opinion who is obviously trying to sell another supplement…
Also, it takes about 90 days to work up to the full dosage of LLV. Making a judgement of this product after only 30 days is inaccurate.
As far as having to be an advocate to return the product, it costs $25 per year to join DoTerra and that’s how they sell their products. Advocates don’t necessarily sell to non members.
