The Apple Watch has exploded in popularity. There is plenty of hype to go around that’s for sure.
If you’re reading this post you may be asking a couple of questions (1) is the Apple Watch worth buying? (2) Does the hype match with it’s usefulness for everyday.

I have owned an Apple Watch for about one year now. Do I wear every day? no. Sometimes I forget to charge it or rush out the door without putting it on my wrist.
Do I like the Apple Watch? Yes. I do. I’m going to walk through the reasons why I really like using the Apple Watch each day and reasons why you should look at purchasing one of your own.
The price of the Apple Watch isn't cheap. The Apple Watch series 4 will cost you anywhere from $399 (38mm; GPS only; Aluminum case). The prices range depending on what band you want and the material of the watch.
Just a fun fact: The most expensive smartwatch that I could find is the Nico Gerard Sunrise Pinnacle which would cost you a whopping $112,000. The crazy thing about this watch is that it has an Apple Watch built into it. I guess everything has to be in its proper perspective; compared to the Gerard Sunrise Pinnacle watch the Apple Watch is rather cheap.
Many people are wondering if the Apple Watch is comfortable to wear. If you are going to wear it all day, you want a watch that is comfortable to wear and not noticeable. Apple said in their keynote that they didn't want you to feel as if you were wearing a life-alert bracelet on your wrist.
Apple wanted their watch small and comfortable to wear.
As far as comfort, I find that the Apple Watch is terrific. I have been wearing it all day, most days for the past year, and I enjoy wearing it.
The silicone band that comes with the sports collection is very soft and comfortable. In all honesty, I often forget that I'm wearing it.
I found this nice leather strap on Amazon that fits nicely and looks great. That’s what is great about the Apple Watch, you can change the style depending on where you’re going or what you are doing.

What's all the hype concerning the Apple Watch? It's the fitness aspect. Everyone loves the Apple Watch because of the Fitness functionality.

Is It Worth Buying?
At the end of the day we want to know if the Apple Watch is worth your hard earned money. We pushed aside all the hype and went right to the truth.
I’ve owned the Apple Watch for 12 months so this is my opinion on the practical use of the Apple Watch.
I Love the Apple Watch For Organization
If you are in the habit of using your calendar on your iPhone then you’re going to love the calendar feature of the Apple Watch.
The Apple Watch shows your next meeting or event right on your wrist. This makes it really easy to prepare for the next event.
I believe that this actually saves me time and keeps me a head of the game during a really busy day.
The Apple Watch also gives me motivation to stay active during the day. If you are like me and you work behind a desk everyday then it’s really easy to spend the entire day sitting down. Medical science teaches us that standing during the day has serious health benefits.
I love how the Apple Watch tells you that it’s time to stand, and using your health rings as a target motivates you to stay active during the day.
Instead of using the elevator you may want to use the stairs.
Communication Without Your Phone
There are times during the day that I am not able to pull out my iPhone. The Apple Watch allows me to stay up-to-date with communications without spending a long time on my phone.
If you are like me, you find yourself spending more time on your phone then just returning a text. You are tempted to waste time on social media or check the latest sports news.
The Apple Watch gives you a quick way to respond to messages quickly and efficiently.
Would I Recommend The Apple Watch?
Yes. I would.
