I’ve been on the Keto Diet for some time now, and when I heard that I could buy a Keto Diet-approved cereal, I was pretty excited. I love cereal; I always have. When you’re on the keto diet, you have to say goodbye to cereal – until now.

Magic Spoon Cereal isn’t the cheapest cereal on the shelf, but it may be the best for you. It will cost you a little less than $10 a box. That’s pretty expensive for such a small box.

Magic Spoon isn’t your everyday, typical cereal, though. It offers 0 grams of sugar, 12-14 grams of protein per serving, fewer carbs, and it’s gluten-free. Now, that’s a pretty impressive resume.

Yet, how does it taste? Is Magic Spoon cereal worth the price tag, or is it hype? That’s what I set out to figure out.

Magic Spoon Cereal comes in four flavors – Cocoa, Frosted, Fruity, and Peanut Butter.

    The Features of Magic Spoon

The concept is simple. It’s a cereal that’s good for you and gives you enough protein to continue the day. Conventional cereals offer only two grams of protein, but Magic Spoon offers 12-14 grams.

So it’s a Keto-friendly, no-sugar cereal that’s supposed to taste the same as your childhood favorites.

So, we know that this cereal is good for you, but does it taste any good? That’s what I wanted to know.

Magic Spoon has been getting a lot of attention lately, and I wanted to know if the hype matched the product’s quality and, more importantly, taste. So, I purchased a box and had cereal for breakfast.

    My Review of Magic Spoon

I enjoyed the Cocoa Magic Spoon flavor. It tasted similar to the sugar cereal on the market, which is a comparable product. The texture of the Magic Spoon was also similar to a regular sugar cereal that we’re used to eating.

The thing that I found hard to get over was the aftertaste.

I have been eating enough keto foods lately to recognize that after tasting them. It’s hard to explain, but it’s there and stays with you for most of the day.

I’m not saying that you won’t get used to it, because I am sure you won’t notice it after a while. Yet, at the beginning, it’s hard to ignore.

Other than the aftertaste, it’s an excellent cereal. The protein kept me full for the entire morning, and it’s a cereal you won’t regret eating later.

It’s hard to believe that it’s so good for you.

Is Magic Spoon Hype or Help?

The keto world is indeed going crazy over this no-sugar cereal. I was also excited to try it because I saw it promoted everywhere. I haven’t had a bowl of cereal in ages, and it was finally nice to get back to those good ol’ days.

Yet, this isn’t a perfect cereal by any means. Though the flavor is excellent, and there are many health benefits, the aftertaste is challenging to get past.

I say all of that to say if you’re looking for a keto-friendly cereal that will keep you full for a long time, then Magic Spoon is a good choice.

Who knows, maybe the aftertaste won’t bother you after a while. But for now, I can still taste it in my mouth.

I still think that it’s an excellent product and helpful to those who are struggling to find another breakfast food on the keto diet, or those who are looking for a better option than the sugar cereals on the market today.

You can pick up a box or two and try Magic Spoon for yourself.
