I want to begin this post by saying that I’m a believer in using essential oils. I use them every day and see the difference that they make in my life and my family.
With that being said, I’m not a big fan of the MLM companies and their over-hype message about what essential oils are capable of doing.
Essential oils are not going to walk your dog or mend that broken relationship with just one drop – that may take two drops.
I joke.
I do not use MLM oils because I’m not going to pay extra for essential oils just to pay a pyramid premium (MLM oils are more money because of the downline in their payment structure). If you purchase 100% pure essential oils from a reputable company, you’re going to be okay.
There are so many great businesses out there that sell essential oils that are 100% pure, unadulterated and they are the same oils as the MLM companies.
Don’t be fooled by MLM companies claims, but this is another post on another day.
One of the ways that I use essential oils is diffusing them as I sleep. It’s terrific to diffuse lavender at night. Lavender (Click the link to check out a great lavender essential oils from Amazon) is excellent for calming you down and making you sleep a lot better. I also use eucalyptus and peppermint at night if I have a cold or a sinus headache. I set out to find the perfect bedside diffuser.
I refuse to spend over $100 for a 400ml diffuser from the MLM companies, so I decided to try my luck on Amazon and see how the Victsing 500ml essential oil diffuser works as a good diffuser to help me sleep.

Large Capacity
The Victsing Essential Oil Diffuser is perfect for diffusing at night because of its large capacity. It has a huge 500ml reservoir.
This is a crucial feature for me when choosing a nightstand diffuser. It has to be able to diffuse all night! This diffuser can run for 14 hours in continuous mode – which is incredible.
The diffuser also has preset timers (2 hrs, 3 hrs, 6 hrs) which makes it easy if you want it to shut off during the night.
Lights Outs
Though most diffusers have this opinion, it’s vital that you have the option to shut off the diffuser light.
The light on this diffuser is a ring around the perimeter, but it would keep you up at night if you were staring at it all night.
It took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to set the light options, but I finally solved the puzzle. Keep hitting the light button, while changing the light colors, until the light goes out.
The first night I did try it with the light on, and it’s annoying (especially if you allow the lights to rotate through the different colors).
I turned the light off on the second night, and it was much better.
Lots of Mist
This diffuser is a workhorse. When I entered the room after only a couple of minutes of the diffuser running, my bedroom smelled like peppermint (This is the peppermint that will fill your room as well. It’s a great product and price from Amazon). This diffuser is supposed to cover over 300sq.ft. of space and I believe it. It’s great for your bedroom or any room in your house.
It also has a high and low setting for the mist levels which allows you to slow the mist down in smaller rooms or for those that are sensitive to the essential oils.
Design
This diffuser has a great look. It’s has a charming contemporary look, and it fits in with most room styles.
It looks great in my bedroom, and I just love how it looks like an elegant decoration that’s place there for design, but has a practical purpose.
Price
How can you beat the price for this diffuser? For under $50 you’re getting a large capacity, lots of features and solid construction.

It’s a Larger Diffuser
The diffuser isn’t small. It weighs 570 grams, and it’s dimensions are 180mm x 235mm.
I have it on my nightstand, and it takes up a bit of space. I wouldn’t say that it’s crazy big, but it’s larger than the ones I have used before.
It’s Noisey
The description on Amazon says that the Victsing’s design helps it to run quieter, but I find it’s still loud.
Two defining sounds come from this diffuser: a humming from the motor and a bubbling sound from inside the reservoir.
I find that the water bubbling inside the reservoir is the most annoying. My wife has complained about it a couple of times.
I am not sure if it’s just that annoying and we won’t be able to get over it, or it’s going to become white noise to us in time.
The only reason why we can hear it so loud is because it’s so quiet during the night, and if the diffuser were used anywhere else but the bedroom, we wouldn’t even notice it.

Overall, it checks all the boxes as a solid diffuser for any room in your home. I’ve used in my bedroom several times now and like it. Helpfulness prevails in this review and I think that you won’t regret this purchase.
I think that the only deal breaker for this diffuser is the noise issue.
